The Des Moines Arts Commission is bringing back its popular Summer Concert Series beginning July 16, 2025, offering six weeks of free live music on Wednesday evenings at Des Moines Beach Park.
The concerts will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m. every Wednesday night through Aug. 20 at the park, located at 22030 Cliff Ave South (map below).
The 2025 lineup features a variety of musical styles, from reggae and rock to jazz and tribute acts.
Performers scheduled to take the stage include:
- July 16: Watkins Glen
- July 23: Laborer & Universal Roots
- July 30: Joey Jewell & Chris Anderson
- August 6: Queen Mother
- August 13: Nite Wave
- August 20: Pilot Seat
Food and beverages will be available for purchase on site.
The concert series is a collaboration between the City of Des Moines, Des Moines Arts Commission, Beach Park Event Center, Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce, and Party on the Rocks.
Community members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and friends for a relaxing evening of music along the waterfront.
