Harbor Freight Tools, a popular nationwide retailer known for affordable tools and equipment, will open its newest store on Pacific Highway on Saturday, Mar. 15, 2025.
Located at 23313 Pacific Highway (map below), the new store will celebrate its grand opening at 8 a.m. by giving away a free bucket to the first 150 customers.
Regular store hours will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.
“Our team is ready to serve and deliver value to customers in Des Moines and all of the surrounding area,” said Jaclyn Scob, Store Manager. “At Harbor Freight, we recognize that now, more than ever, our customers depend on us for the tools they need to get the job done at an affordable price.”
This new location is the 36th Harbor Freight store in Washington state, creating approximately 25-30 local jobs. The company employs over 650 associates statewide.
Harbor Freight offers tools and equipment across various categories, including automotive, air and power tools, storage solutions, outdoor equipment, generators, welding supplies, and hand tools. Company officials say the store is designed to provide an easier shopping experience compared to larger home-improvement centers.
