In order to help ‘flatten the curve,’ City of Des Moines closes all playgrounds

In order to help “flatten the curve,” the City of Des Moines has closed all playgrounds until further notice.

This is an effort to help minimize the spread of the COVID-19 coronavirus.

“Together, 6 feet apart, we can make a difference! Stay safe my friends,” the city said on Facebook.
