Residents across south King County are invited to enjoy a morning of pancakes and community fun at a lumberjack-themed fundraiser planned for Saturday, Mar. 14, at Judson Park in Des Moines.
The “Lumber Jack and Lumber Jill Pancake Breakfast” fundraiser will run from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the Judson Park Rainier Dining Room (map below).
The event will raise money for the JP Benevolence Fund, which supports residents and programs at the Judson Park retirement community.
Organizers say attendees can expect a pancake breakfast along with activities including axe throwing and a photo booth.
Guests are encouraged to wear flannel and jeans to match the lumberjack theme.
The suggested minimum donation is $15 for adults and $10 for children under age 10. Donations will be accepted by cash, check or resident room charge, and credit cards will also be accepted.
