Des Moines Police are investigating an early morning shooting that left a man injured on Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2025 in the 22500 block of 6th Ave S. (map below).
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 6:30 a.m. and found a male victim with a gunshot wound to the knee. His injuries were non-life-threatening, and he was transported to a hospital for treatment.
Detectives are currently gathering evidence and reviewing surveillance footage but have not yet released any suspect information.
The investigation remains active.
