MIBBB Fest and Waterland Pride will join the weekly Des Moines Creek Parkrun on Saturday morning, June 20, inviting community members to run, walk, volunteer or simply watch at a free event at Des Moines Beach Park.

The event will begin at 9 a.m. and is FREE and open to the public.

Organizers are encouraging participation from cosplay runners and walkers, as well as fans of MIBBB Fest and community supporters attending as spectators.

According to organizers, Des Moines Creek Parkrun is a free, weekly 5K community event designed to be welcoming and accessible to participants of all abilities.

“Run, walk, or watch,” organizers said in promoting the event. “For all cosplay runners, walkers, or MIB watchers!”

Participants may choose to walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate.

The gathering brings together local community groups and residents for an active outdoor event along the Des Moines waterfront, adding a themed element through participation by MIBBB Fest and Waterland Pride supporters.
