Mount Rainier High School’s football Rams beat the Kentridge Chargers 48-7 at home Thursday, Oct. 1, improving to 4-1 on the season.

The 41-point victory dropped the Chargers to 1-4 and sets up a matchup between the Rams and Burien’s Kennedy Catholic, which also holds a 4-1 record. The Lancers also score 48 points in their latest game.

The Rams are tied with Stadium for third in the 4A North Puget Sound standings at 2-1 in league play, behind Kennedy Catholic and Tahoma, both at 3-0.

The Rams will next face Kennedy Catholic’s Lancers at 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 9, at Highline Memorial Stadium in Burien.
