SAVE THE DATE: Seattle Southside Chamber’s 2025 Candidates Night will be Wednesday, Oct. 8

by EditorAugust 10, 2025August 9, 2025

EDITOR’S NOTE: South King Media Founder/Publisher Scott Schaefer serves on the Board of Directors for the Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce.

Join the Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce for an unforgettable evening at its 2025 Candidates Night on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2025 — a powerful and engaging opportunity to meet the final candidates who will appear on your general election ballot this November.

Held after the primaries, this reception style nonpartisan event brings together candidates from local, county, and state races to connect directly with voters and community leaders.

With critical decisions ahead, this is your chance to hear firsthand where the candidates stand, ask the tough questions, and make informed choices that shape the future of our region.

This event will be held at the Sleep Inn at Sea-Tac Airport (map below).

Who Will Be There?

We’ve invited candidates representing:

  • Cities: Burien, Des Moines, Normandy Park, SeaTac, and Tukwila
  • King County offices
  • State Legislative Districts: 11th, 33rd, and 34th

What to Expect:

  • Direct access to candidates in a relaxed and approachable format
  • Live performances by local artists celebrating our vibrant community
  • A hosted bar and light refreshments to enjoy while you engage
  • A chance to network with business, civic, and community leaders
  • A forum focused on facts, transparency, and real dialogue

Your vote is your voice — make it count.

This is more than just an event; it’s your opportunity to be informed, inspired, and involved in shaping the future of your city, county, and state.

Seats are limited — register today and be part of the conversation that moves South King County forward.
