The Washington State Patrol on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, canceled a Silver Alert for 61-year-old Dennis Bartram, who had been missing in the Des Moines/Kent area since Sunday, June 8.

A Silver Alert has been activated by the Washington State Patrol on behalf of the Des Moines Police Department for 61-year-old Dennis Bartram, who was last seen around 9:30 a.m. Sunday, June 8, 2025 in the area of South 244th Street in Des Moines.

Bartram, who uses a wheelchair and has both legs amputated, may be unable to return without assistance.

Authorities say he was possibly headed toward Kent.

He is described as white, 6 feet tall, weighing 200 pounds, with white hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black jacket and using his wheelchair.

“May be unable to return without assistance,” the Silver Alert notice states.

The Silver Alert system is used to help locate missing and vulnerable adults who may be at risk due to age, disability, or medical conditions.

Officials are urging the public to call 911 immediately with any information about Bartram’s whereabouts. The case number is 25-1201.
