South King Media’s network of eight, multiple award-winning hyperlocal websites has reported impressive growth recently, showcasing our strong connection with the community.
Recent Google Analytics data reveals that – during the month of July, 2024 – the network attracted 108,519 users, generating 160,792 sessions and 217,483 pageviews.
The significant uptick in traffic underscores the importance of our hyperlocal news in South King County, which includes Burien, White Center, Normandy Park, SeaTac, Des Moines, Tukwila, Kent, and Auburn. South King Media’s focus on delivering timely, relevant and award-winning news has resonated with residents, fostering increased engagement and loyalty.
“This growth is a testament to the hard work of our dedicated, professional team and the trust our readers place in us to deliver the local news and events that matters most to them,” said Scott Schaefer, Founder/Publisher/Editor. “We are committed to continuing our mission of providing high-quality, local journalism that serves the needs of our diverse communities.”
As the region continues to grow, South King Media remains a vital resource for staying informed about neighborhood happenings, which it has been providing since Schaefer started The B-Town Blog as a hobby in Dec., 2007.
