A brand new DUI Joe Show will air on our sister site SoKing Internet Radio this Thursday, Jan. 24, with special guest Tom Taaffe, who will discuss cult leader Rev. Jim Jones.
“James Warren Jones was born in 1931 in Indiana,” DUI Joe told us. “Six years later Tom Taaffe was born in New York. Both Tom and Jim pursued educations which eventually lead them to attend some of the same classes at Butler University in Indianapolis. Eventually Tom became an attorney and Jim became a religious leader. Tom is now semi-retired but still practicing law in Burien and helps out the disabled with their legal problems. Jim is now dead after leading over 900 people to mass suicide in Guyana. Join Joe and Tom on The DUI Joe Show on Thursday, January 24th when they will be talking about what Jim Jones was like before he became the REVEREND JIM JONES.”
If you’re not familiar with the Rev. Jim Jones and his tragic massacre of 900 of his followers, here are some videos:

This is a fast-paced informative local talk show that runs 10 minutes, and airs six times every Thursday at Midnight, 4 a.m., 8 a.m. and again at Noon, 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.
If you’re not familiar with him, “DUI Joe” is actually Joe Breidenbach, a Burien-based attorney who knows how to talk and how to listen and that’s why he’s got his own talk show.

Following are some testimonials from actual listeners:
Joe: Before your scheduled show I turned on the “station”. They were playing dream music with psychedelic accompaniment on the screen. I fell asleep at the desk and missed your show. OK, better luck next week.

Joe — you are one of the most engaging interviewers I’ve ever heard. You’re a natural! I’m referring, of course, to your internet radio show. I just heard it for the first time and I loved it. Your guest was terrific and interesting, and you had such an upbeat and interested style of questioning. I particularly loved the bleeps! Such fun. Will try to remember to make this a regular noontime stop on Thurs. Best wishes,
– Ann in Kent, WA
