Police are asking for the public’s help locating a 64-year-old woman who has been missing since mid-August.

Shelia Muhammad was last seen on Aug. 18, 2025, walking northbound on Interurban Avenue South in Tukwila, police said.

At the time, she was wearing a brown shirt, black sweatpants, and a gray hat.

Police said Muhammad has not checked in with family or friends since she disappeared, which they described as unusual behavior.

“At this time, her whereabouts and where she may have been headed are unknown,” Tukwila Police said in a public notice.

The Washington State Patrol has also issued a missing person alert.

Muhammad is described as 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 128 pounds.

Authorities are urging anyone who sees Muhammad or has information about her location to contact the Tukwila Police Department at 206-241-2121, email tips@tukwilawa.gov, or send a private message through the department’s social media channels.

Information may also be provided to the Washington State Patrol Missing and Unidentified Persons Unit at 1-800-543-5678, referencing case number 250004059.
