The City of Des Moines is seeking Volunteers for the annual Waterland Parade, which will be held from 4–8 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2024.
This is our city’s largest annual event.
Volunteers will assist with safety, security, and customer service.

“The Waterland Parade is a cherished tradition in Des Moines since 1959. It is a Seafair Sanctioned Community Event (www.seafair.org) that brings the community together for a day of celebration, entertainment, and camaraderie. The parade is a highlight of the festival. The parade showcases impressive floats, marching bands, local organizations, and more.”
