Another beautiful day snuck in before the rain. The Field Day Fun Event and 5K Run were enjoyed by lots of families. Our normal large crowd of shoppers was down (happens every year) as the Washington State Fair had it’s opening in Puyallup. Thanks to everyone who donated diapers at the Stuff the Bus Diaper Drive.
The last Clutter to Cash Sale is this Saturday. Put on your bargaining hat and look for lots of great buys. The sale takes place in the Horseshoe area in front of the Marina Office from 10 to 2pm.
Vendor Profile: With the holidays fast approaching, it is time to bring all your sharpening needs to Bill Magee’s little black trailer, Cutlery on Wheels. The trailer is located at the market entrance next to the Snohomish Bakery. Bill not only sharpens knives, he works on garden tools or anything you can carry to him that contains a blade.
An important event is coming to the market on Sep 26th – Got Drugs & Shred-it. It is the only time this year you can take your unused medications to be disposed of safely. You can also bring your old records, for security reasons, you want destroyed. Residents can bring up two full file boxes. It will be first come first served. Once the truck is full, the event will end. This is a FREE event. Just drive thru the horse shoe lot in front of the marina office.
