People kept looking for strawberries but, there was none as the season was early and quick this year because of the heat. The good news is that other berries will be coming in through the month of August. The Des Moines Police Foundation is raffling off a Trip for Four to Disneyland Resort. Look for their booth this Saturday at the market. A maximum of 500 tickets will be sold at $10 apiece, and the drawing will take place at the Foundation’s booth in the Farmer’s Market on July 18th at 2 p.m. The package is valued at $2,600.
