Pet lovers and families are invited to the “Waterland Howl-O-Ween” celebration on Saturday, Oct. 26, from Noon to 4 p.m., hosted at 22327 Marine View Drive South in Des Moines (map below).
Presented by A Dog’s Dream and Marina Mercantile, the event promises an afternoon of festive fun, with activities including a pop-up market, pet costume contests, and trick-or-treating.
This free community event will feature a Pop-Up Market, offering everything from baked goods and artisan crafts to plants and jewelry. Some of the participating vendors include:

The event also includes exciting giveaways and activities from community partners like South Sound Snip & Tip, Northwest Naturals, and K9 & Feline Natural.
Pet Costume Contest & Photo Booth
Families are encouraged to bring their pets in costume to compete in the costume contests, with prizes for the best-dressed animals. A photo booth will be available for capturing memories, and children can enjoy trick-or-treating throughout the event.
