We’d like to extend a down home, oven baked, scratch made welcome to our newest Advertiser – Dana K’s Kafe. Dana K’s is tucked away just behind and down the sidewalk from the Scotch & Vine on Marine View Drive in downtown Des Moines. It’s in the same cozy spot the Blue Vanilla and Blue Whale Bistro used to occupy. Dana and her co-proprietor husband Tom have many years together in the restaurant industry, and they have put together a can’t-go-wrong menu of sandwiches, soups, salads, pastries and more. Their hours could not be more convenient. They are open 11am to 8pm seven days a week.
