A disabled man living in Kent was the happy recipient of a new ramp thanks to Powell Custom Homes and Renovations on Friday, May 18th. The ramp was built as part of the Rampathon event, in which members of the Master Builders Association volunteered to build a free ramp for disabled community members. This is Powell’s fourth year participating in this event. “This is great, finally a safe ramp to go down and I don’t have to worry about falling off the edge,” said Steven, the ramp recipient. “This is terrific. I love it.” Steven is very thankful for his new ramp, and Powell Custom Homes and Renovations is looking forward to helping more community members have access to their homes, during the next Rampathon event. If you know someone who needs a ramp built contact the Master Builders Association at their website, www.mba-ks.com.
