The Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce will host its 2026 Education and Workforce Summit on Thursday, April 30, bringing together educators, employers and industry leaders to focus on workforce development across South King County.

The event will run from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at the accesso ShoWare Center in Kent (map below).

This annual event is designed to highlight emerging workforce trends, innovative education strategies and the evolving needs of the region’s key industries.

Participants will have opportunities to explore interactive exhibits, hear from expert panelists and engage in discussions aimed at building a stronger regional talent pipeline.

The event also aims to connect attendees with organizations focused on developing the next generation of workers.

Organizers say the summit will bring together partners from K through 12 education, higher education, workforce development programs and employers to collaborate on solutions and showcase new career pathways.

Admission is $75 for chamber members and $100 for non members.
