Residents in Des Moines will have a chance to speak directly with Mayor Yoshiko Grace Matsui at a “Chat with the Mayor” event this Saturday, April 25, from 4–6 p.m. at Tandoori Slice (map below).
This meet and greet event is designed as an informal setting where residents can connect with the mayor, ask questions, and share ideas about issues important to the community.
City officials described the gathering as having no formal agenda, encouraging attendees to “swing by, grab a bite, and be part of the discussion.”
The event is open to the public, and parking is available behind the business. The city added that additional dates and locations for future “Chat with the Mayor” events are expected to be announced.
