A free classic and vintage car show featuring live music, food trucks and family activities is set to return to the Des Moines waterfront on Sunday, July 19.
The Waterland Wheels Classic & Vintage Car Show will be held Sunday, July 19, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the north parking lot of the Des Moines Marina.
The event will include a beer and wine garden, live music, food trucks, awards and family friendly activities.
Awards are scheduled to be presented at 1 p.m.
The event is being presented by Destination Des Moines in collaboration with Masters Northwest.
Organizers describe Waterland Wheels as a free event designed to bring classic and vintage automobiles to the city’s waterfront venue while offering entertainment and activities for visitors of all ages.
The event is sponsored by several community partners, including John L. Scott Des Moines, the Des Moines Marina, Recology and Waterland Blog.
