The timeless beauty of hand-crafted vessels will once again grace the Des Moines Marina as the Classic Wooden Boat Show drops anchor during Waterland weekend on Saturday and Sunday, July 19–20, 2025.
Now a long-standing tradition since its launch in 2006, the event draws wooden boat enthusiasts and curious onlookers alike to admire watercraft dating from the 1920s through the 1960s.
Visitors will have the chance to step aboard these lovingly restored boats and hear stories from the owners about their history and detailed craftsmanship.
Part of the broader Pacific Northwest wooden boat show series—which includes popular stops in Seattle, Olympia, and Gig Harbor—Des Moines holds its own as a fan favorite.
This year’s show is expected to feature 12 classic vessels, thanks to the collaboration between Harbormaster Larry Frazier, Marina staff, and longtime organizers Patti and Bill Linscott and Todd Powell.
Show Hours:
- 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, July 19
- 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, July 20
Admission is FREE, and the event takes place at the Des Moines Marina.
