This week, Gov. Jay Inslee issued a ban on all group gatherings of 250 or more people, in order to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 Coronavirus in our state.
The Des Moines Yacht Club will honor their civic duty by cancelling their March 21 Marine Swap Meet, which tends to be a well-attended club event.
Currently it is questionable how long this ban will be in effect. Therefore, the Swap Meet will be cancelled and not postponed to a later date.
“The Des Moines Yacht Club wants to be a part of the solution, prevent the spread as best they can, and see the Coronavirus managed in the coming months.
