Courtesy Elston Hill comes these great photos, showing the recent, final stages of dredging in the entrance channel of the Des Moines Marina, along with some scenic photos of birds and fisherfolk.

“A week ago, the bucket mostly picked up mud,” Elston said. “Now it is mostly water.”

Dredging work has been completed, and now the entrance channel is clear.
