Our sewer rate is LESS Than HALF the average sewer rate in King County, also About 1/3rd the City of Seattle sewer rate, and we provide excellent service to our rate payers. I am committed to keeping rates low without sacrificing service quality!
Hi, my name is Susan (Suzy) Genzale. It has been my honor to serve as your commissioner these past 5 years, first assuming the seat of my late husband, Tony Genzale, then standing for election. Together we operated Tony’s Market for 40 years, experience which has helped me bring a business owners experience and practical sense to the table. Acting with my fellow commissioners and district staff, we have made great strides forward in upgrading infrastructure, staff training, safety programs, and security and technology. Our sewer rate is about half (50%) the average sewer rate in King County and the second lowest sewer rate of the 28 sewer providers in King County.
The Southwest Suburban Sewer District employee union (Local 21S) voted for my continued leadership. I have been endorsed by the 33rd and 34th Democratic Districts, Evergreen Democratic Club, and the King County Democratic Central Committee. We have a sewer district that is focused on the future. I love being your commissioner. It is a privilege to serve you. Thank you for your vote.
