Des Moines has announced its 2026 Summer Concert Series, with six Wednesday evening performances scheduled at Des Moines Beach Park from mid-July through mid-August.
Concerts will run from 7 to 8:30 p.m. and will include food trucks and a beer garden.
The concert series will begin July 15 with Spike and the Impalers, a Northwest cover band for 25 years. Other scheduled acts include country band Kitty Mae on July 22, 80s tribute band Nite Wave on July 29, the iconic ABBAGRAPHS on Aug. 5, harmonica blues from Stevie and the Blue Flames on Aug. 12 and Huey Lewis tribute band Power of Love on Aug. 19.
