dmtreelighting16 All are encouraged to wear Pajamas to the annual Des Moines Tree Lighting – to be held Friday, Dec. 2, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Big Catch Plaza. This is a FREE event for all, and will be fun for the whole family. Big Catch Plaza is located on the corner of Marine View Drive and 218th. John L Scott will be offering cookies and hot cocoa for all attendees who hopefully will make it a Pajama party again this year. Festive caroling, and the Des Moines Elementary School Band will be playing music, and don’t forget photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus! Please also bring a new set of pajamas to share with a family in need, all sizes from baby to adult needed. We will also be collecting non-perishable food items for the Des Moines Area Food Bank.]]>
