The Des Moines Farmers Market is pleased to announce that the WIC program will have a representative at the market every Saturday in July. You might have seen this sign displayed at various vendors and at the information booth. The rep will be there to answer any questions about the program and you will be able to apply for WIC benefits.

- WIC is the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children.

- In Washington State, WIC reaches over 195,000 women, infants, and children in 205 clinics each month and provides services to over 315,000 individuals each year.
