Would your teen benefit from a Catholic high school education? Just what has been going on inside that nice beige building off of First Ave South in Burien? How did last year’s graduating class manage to secure over $8.3 million in scholarship awards? And why do so many parent share glowing reviews, such as Christine and Tim Smith, who say,:
“Our family has been a part of the Kennedy Catholic family for just a short period of time, and we could quickly tell that this school is a very special place for our two sons. They leap out of the car each day to embrace the vibrant campus and academic opportunities. They have met new friends and have enjoyed many activities ranging from athletics, bon-fires, a school dance and field trips outside the classroom. We are appreciative that the teachers are able to meet with students before and after school, plus our boys will be participating in the upcoming Math Lab to further cement core-concepts. Our young daughter also experienced a “taste of Kennedy” when she participated in the recent junior cheerleader camp. She had a blast! We look forward to the next four years and the opportunity to watch our children thrive!”This month offers many opportunities for interested parents and students to find the answers to those questions, and many more about this local institution. One which has been committed to developing achievement in academics, sportsmanship, and individual gifts, in our area’s youth for over 45 years. Kennedy Catholic High School will open its doors in October and November for a variety of discovery events. Lancer Tuesday Visit Days will begin on Tuesday, Oct. 9. Offering prospective students a chance to experience firsthand how it feels to be a part of the inclusive and welcoming KCHS culture. In all honesty and respect. I got more in two years at Mt. Rainier High School than I did at my two years at JFK. ( no politics are involved at MRHS) support you local public HS an get involved. That is how these JFK kids got the scholarships, hard work and a good support system.
Clearly your two years at Mt. Rainier did not do much for your spelling or grammer!
Maybe if you had stuck it out the other two years at Kennedy, you might have learned to write as well as many of the students who graduate from there?
