REMINDER: The Des Moines Arts Commission’s popular Summer Concert Series continues with free, live awesome 80’s music from Nite Wave from 7 – 8:30 p.m. this Wednesday evening, Aug. 13 at Des Moines Beach Park.

This is the second-to-last show in the city’s 2025 concert series, so channel your inner ’80s icon — tease up that hair, pull out the shoulder pads, slip into acid-washed jeans or a classic tracksuit, and get ready for a night of hit songs, bold style, and nonstop fun.

Food and beverages will be available for purchase on site.

Community members are encouraged to bring lawn chairs, blankets, and friends for a relaxing evening of fun, danceable music along the waterfront.

The concert series is a collaboration between the City of Des Moines, Des Moines Arts Commission, Beach Park Event Center, Seattle Southside Chamber of Commerce, and Party on the Rocks.
