SAVE THE DATE & WIN TICKETS: Poverty Bay Blues & Brews Fest returns to rock Des Moines on Saturday, Aug. 23

Mark your calendars for Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025, as the Poverty Bay Blues & Brews Festival will return to rock the scenic shores of Des Moines Beach Park for another all day jam of music, craft beer, and community giving.

Presented by the Rotary Club of Des Moines and Normandy Park, the popular festival will feature performances from four standout blues artists:

  • Hank Shreve Band
  • Allison Joy Williams
  • Joel Astley
  • Hilltop

Festivalgoers can also enjoy dozens of regional craft brews while taking in the music, all for a good cause.

“100% of the proceeds benefit the causes powered by the Rotary Club,” organizers said.

Tickets go on sale June 1, but fans have a chance to win two free tickets by visiting drinktomusic.org and entering.

Entrants must be 21 or older and ID is required at the gate.

The beachfront setting, live blues, and craft beer offerings have made this annual event a beloved summer tradition for South King County residents and visitors alike.
